Peavey Classic 30 all-valve "tweed" style guitar amplifier, made In USA. Used but in very good condition.
Recently serviced by a qualified tech. This has been my main guitar amplifier for a number of years, both for practice at home and for performing with a band. It's an absolute peach of an amp, both to look at and to play though, have a look online for the very positive reviews. It's in very good condition.
It's all stock i. Original speaker and valve types, valves have been replaced some years ago. Includes power lead (integrated) but no footswitch (available separately for these amps) and no manual (downloadable from the internet). There is a Peavey logo that was attached to the grille which I will include, but I took it off years ago and can't remember how it was attached. I think it looks better without it.This amp has just been serviced by a qualified tech in Bedford. The spring reverb tank was replaced so that's brand new. The tech told me that the valves in the power amp were slightly microphonic so they may need replacing soon. It plays fine to my ears so I didn't replace them.
I have priced the amp to reflect this. This is the MK1 version but I'm not aware of any major changes apart from the exterior. The below Wikipedia link gives the spec for the mk1. Really hope this goes to a good home where it gets used to its full potential.
My favourite thing about it has been the outstanding clean tones and headroom on the "normal" channel, which are a brilliant platform for pedals if you like to use them (it also has an effects loop). It's capable of exceptional volume, and all from a relatively small and portable package. If you plug in an extension cabinet as well, you can fill any stage with this thing.
