1999 Apple iMac 400 G3 DV Model M7493LL/A. RARE Complete in original box with all original parts, packaging, plastic covers, twist ties, manuals, papers, CD disks, mouse keyboard, and cables! Everything is clean and nice. Great collectible set ready for display!

System boots and runs, keyboard and mouse work, the internal slot-loading DVD drive is NOT functioning, will not insert or read disks, which is a very common problem with these systems. Any external DVD or CD drive will work with this system via USB. I played the included A Bug's Life DVD via an external USB drive (not included) as shown. Also, the front inner plastic bezel is cracked with pieces broken off and seen inside case, see photos.

This is a very common issue with the G3 models as the inner bezel is a very thin and brittle plastic, so cracks easily unfortunately. The inside bezel could be replaced with a bezel from a G3 donor unit, but would require both systems be taken fully apart which is not simple. There are little bits of the bezel plastic inside the unit that rattle around when they system is picked up. Of course this has no impact on the operation of the system. Complete in box original G3 sets like this are hard to find now 20+ years later, great to collect and display! Original Apple retail box has all the internal packaging foam holders, original plastic covers, accessory kit box, all original manuals and papers, all original disks in disk holder, etc. Manuals and papers are crisp and nice. System is very complete and nice. Box has original labels, in excellent condition compared to most that still exist, stored well to keep nice. For many more early Apple and Mac collectibles.
