All coffee mugs by Deneen Pottery are uniquely handmade. I happen to have 2 in the same collectible/usable condition at the time of this posting. Is Deneen Pottery Food Safe / Lead-Free?

This mug is completely lead and heavy-metal-free and totally safe to drink from! You can even use them it in the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer - however, it is not recommend going from one extreme to the other. This mug is handmade and unique and has been touched by over 24 pairs of hands at our studio in St. Since this cup is made by hand, at times there will be slight variations in size, capacity, color and glaze consistency.
