GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM 1989, USA, TOBACCO BURST IN GOOD USED CONDITION WITH GOLD PLATE HARDWARE. All Original and has never been damaged, repaired or altered and this great Gibson guitar is in perfect working order throughout. This really is a fabulous high end quality instrument made with the finest materials and from one the very best guitar manufactures in the world. They really don't come much better than this. I bought the guitar new in 1990 from a music shop in Dublin, Ireland, and has been in my possession ever since.

Does have some light buckle rash and an odd dint, ding, light pick scratch marks here and there but barely noticeable. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.

Electrics are all original and have never been tampered with. The humbucker pickups are The Original Gibson USA (see pics) and they sound superb. Ebony fretboard with very little wear to the original frets with all the binding nibs still intact.

It has recently been setup by a professional luthier at a PMT Music store. The overall condition is as good as you would find for a 31 year old guitar. This Gibson is very solid and heavy. It weighs, approx 10 lbs +. It's the heaviest Les Paul that I've ever played.

Solid mahogany body and neck with maple top. These classic tonewoods give the Les Paul its legendary responsive snappy deep warm sound, and the guitar has the classic tone that only you get from these guitars. Ebony fretboard with mother of pearl inlays. Apparently the late 80's was a particularly good time for quality made Gibson's. The neck is straight with round profile. The action is low and a real joy to play. The Les Paul Custom is one of the most powerful and beautiful electric ever made. The Custom adds numerous visual details, including block inlays, gold plated hardware, multiple-ply binding and a split-diamond inlay on the headstock which all really enhance it look. It's not just the visuals that are celebrated with the Les Paul Custom, the thick, dark and sustaining tone from the Custom is as legendary as it looks. The guitar comes in its original Gibson USA branded hard case, but PLEASE NOTE... That the combination lock does not work. The clasp stays permanently up and open on its spring. (I have forgotten the 3 digit combination code). A valuable guitar like this should be viewed and played when possible (with the social distancing rule observed).
