Magnatone Student Model 111 All-Tube 2.5-Watt 1x8 Guitar Combo Amplifier #23776. Up for sale a Magnatone Student Model 111 All-Tube 2.5-Watt 1x8 Guitar Combo Amplifier - #23776! This beautiful vintage amplifier is a Used Model in Good Cosmetic Condition and in Perfect Working Condition. On this one, the handle is torn and disjointed but is still functional (see 5th to 7th pictures) and there are some scratches, marks, tiny notches, tolex rips, paint chips and a light oxidation on the metal parts and other signs of wear here and there (see 1st to 8th and 15th to 24th pictures), but nothing major. All pictures are in the " Item Description " section of the listing. Sometime in 1953, Magna established a line of amplifiers with model numbers in the "100"s. They replaced the earlier amplifiers and came with new cabinet designs as well as circuit updates. In 1959, Magnatone came out with two new amps : The Model 111 and the Model 807. The Model 11 has a single channel with 2 inputs (High gain / Low Gain), a volume and tone control, a 12X7 preamp tube, a 50C5 power tube and a 35W4 rectifier tube for a 2.5 Watts approximative power.

It has a 8-inch Oxford 8CM-12 Alnico Magnet. 12AX7 Dual Triode Preamp Tube. Class A 5OC5 Power Tube.
