Decorative plate in a floral pattern, decorated by Pickard, Mark 5, cir 1905 - 1910. The plate is artist signed Sinclair (George). The blank is Limoges France. The plate is heavily scalloped, with a diameter of 8 1/2 inches.
Sinclair specialized in commercial, naturalistic florals. The plate is decorated with three clusters of brightly colored violets and daisies on a pastel background of yellow, blues and greens. A separate group of daisies anchors the center of the plate. Violet buds are interspersed along the perimeter of the plate, and are connected by a green stem line.A wide gold band surrounds the scalloped edge of the plate. Please view all pictures for details.
