I have no expertise here but this antique Western Electric candlestick telephone model 229W looks to be all original. The cloth covered wire even still has the original paper label wrapped around it with a pat'd date of 1904. And of course the most notable feature here is the outside terminal receiver.

As shown the receiver is nicely marked and bears the number "70" as well. Stamped also is the number 20 BC - hard to read - see photos.

There is a paint scuff on the shaft where the receiver has rubbed against it. The original felt bottom is completely deteriorated. The ends of the original wire has old scotch tape and some old white medical tape as shown. The very close up photos shown some discoloration spots on the Nickle surface.
