Vintage Collectable Made In USA Hemp Converse Chuck Taylor Low Top Shoes. These shoes are circa 1990's based on shoe stitch pattern and shoebox print making them over 20 years old.
As with all rare vintage collectables with iconic history, value of shoes will only increase over time if kept in their current mint condition. These classics were made in the United States prior to Nike purchasing the brand and relocating manufacturing overseas during the 2000's. The hemp fabric uppers are naturally thicker and more durable than their standard canvas counterpart. Rubber soles are an intentional off white color and not due to oxidation. All Star heel stamp adorns the now extinct'Made In USA' declaration. Inside insole of shoes also have the'Made In USA' declaration just beneath the Converse logo. Shoes come with original hangtag and packaging. Both left and right rear heel strips adorn a very unique woven label that reads'Hemp'. All stripe detail on shoes are colored black. Each pair has the'Authentic Converse Product' label on inside label.Shoes are stamped grade A Irregular on shoebox as well as inside tongues.
