Vintage Pyrex Gold Butterfly Mixing Bowl Nesting Set. Corning Ware. VGC

A lovely vintage Pyrex mixing bowl nesting set with the pattern called Butterfly Gold by Corning. The Butterfly Gold (sometimes known as Golden Butterfly) was introduced in 1972 as a series of Pyrex Compatibles. These sets complemented the Corelle Dinnerware pattern released in 1970 of the same name.

Each bowl on the bottom is identified from smallest to largest, with 401 being the smallest and 404 is the largest. 401, 402, 403, and 404 are the sequence-the bowls alternate between white and golden brown colors. The white bowl is the largest, with a golden brown bowl being the smallest. On the bottom of a white bowl is a small scratch.
