Everything you need to work on Toyota Truck and SUV rear axle bearings from 1984 to 2020! This kit enables you to remove and reinstall almost any bearing and ABS tone ring (reluctor). Depending on how corroded onto the axle the bearing is, and how worn the bearing is, the outer race and housing may separate from the inner race while pressing. This will require the inner race to be cut off. This situation is not the fault of the tool and is not a valid reason for return of this item.
Tone Rings (ABS Reluctor Ring). The vehicles below all use the same ABS tone ring, which can be removed with the included tone ring tool. The tone ring tool only fits those vehicles listed above. This kit also includes a 40mm bearing driver.
Use this with your puller to install 40mm bearings. It's tall enough that the bellcrank will clear the press bed. Features a view port so that you can easily see the press action. Get it right the first time and save time!
This 40mm installer only works with the 40mm bearing and tone ring that is. It is not intended for the larger unit bearings used on later generation vehicles. Black, Red and Yellow Powder Coated.
